What is the teaching approach at Colorado Trucking College?

What types of courses are offered at Colorado Trucking College?

We offer a range of courses to suit different needs:

What do I need to enroll?

  • Be 18 years or older,
  • Be able to pass and English proficiency test,
  • Have a valid driver’s license,
  • Have a commercial’s learner’s permit,
  • Have an up to date DOT physical,
  • pass a mandatory drug screen, prior to beginning the behind the wheel training.
  • A $300 deposit (fully refundable).

Where do I obtain my learner’s permit?

The learner’s permit can be obtained by taking the written exams at the DMV. For Class A license you need general knowledge, combination and airbrakes. For Class B you need general knowledge and airbrakes. Endorsement have their own requirements. https://dmv.colorado.gov/cdl-general-information.

Where do I get my DOT?

The DOT physical can be obtained at any DOT certified clinic. (ex. Concentra, Driver’s Choice).

How long is the program?
  • Class A is an estimated 5 weeks.
  • Class B is an estimated 2 weeks.
What is the schedule?
  • Monday-Friday: 7am-11am or 10:30am-2:30pm
  • Saturday’s ONLY: 7am-2pm
  • Sunday-CLOSED
  • We can work with your availability as well!

Our trainers have extensive experience, with years of expertise in Over-The-Road (OTR) driving or as trainers in other institutions. This ensures that our students learn from professionals who understand the industry inside-out.

Certainly! We offer comprehensive CDL testing for both Class A and Class B licenses. Additionally, we provide a Hazmat online course, which covers the essential knowledge and skills related to transporting hazardous materials safely and in compliance with regulations.

What type of payments do you accept?

We accept Cash, Credit/Debit Card (3% transaction fee), Business Check, Cashier’s Check or Money Order.

Do you offer payment plans of financial aid?

At the present time, we do not provide any payment plans or tuition assistance.

Do you work with the WIOA/Work Force program?

Yes, we do. We work with Adams, Arapahoe, Douglas, Jefferson, Denver, Etc.
